About Us
The Asheville Channel is the government access cable channel for the City of Asheville, North Carolina. The Asheville Channel serves cable subscribers throughout the city on Charter Cable Channel 11. We reach approximately 21,000 households in the City of Asheville and approximately 35,000 additional households in adjacent surrounding areas.
The mission of the Asheville Channel is to provide City residents and visitors with factual and non-editorial information concerning city government services, programs and activities. The channel focuses on making information about city services and programs more accessible to citizens, businesses, and visitors in Asheville. Programming on the Asheville Channel is limited to content delivered by the City of Asheville and relating to state, federal or local government services.
Asheville City Council Meetings -
Meetings of Asheville City Council are televised live on the Asheville Channel at the time of the meeting, typically the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 5 p.m.
